Return & Refund Policy

At Hair Theory, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is an issue with your order, we're here to help.

1. Return Window

You have 15 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • Unopened and unused
  • In its original condition
  • In the original packaging
  • With all original seals, tags, and accessories, where applicable
  • Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

Products that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a return or refund.

2. Opened or Used Products

For hygiene and product-safety reasons, we do not accept returns or refunds for products that have been opened, used, tested, or partially consumed.

This includes hair oils, serums, and other haircare products.

Please make sure you are satisfied with your purchase before opening or using the product.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged during delivery
  • Defective
  • Different from what you ordered

please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Please provide your order number along with clear photos or videos showing the issue. We will review the case and, if approved, arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

For approved cases involving a damaged, defective, or incorrectly sent product, Hair Theory will cover the applicable return or replacement shipping cost.

4. Change-of-Mind Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, a return may be accepted only if the product is unopened, unused, and in its original condition.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

The original delivery/shipping charge, if separately charged, is also non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

We do not charge a separate restocking fee.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct product exchanges.

If you want a different product, the easiest option is to:

  1. Return your eligible unopened and unused product.
  2. Wait for the return to be received and approved.
  3. Place a new order for the product you want.

If the original product was damaged, defective, or incorrectly sent by us, we will work with you to resolve the issue.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used products
  • Products that have been tested or partially consumed
  • Products without their original packaging or seals
  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling or misuse
  • Products returned after the 15-day return period

7. How to Request a Return

To request a return, contact us with:

  • Your order number
  • Your name
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos or videos of the product, if applicable

We will review your request and let you know whether your return is approved.

Please do not send a product back before receiving return instructions from Hair Theory.

8. Return Shipping & Restocking Fee

For eligible change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Hair Theory does not charge a separate restocking fee.

For products that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly sent by Hair Theory, we will cover the applicable return shipping cost after the claim has been reviewed and approved.

9. Refunds & Processing Time

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will process the refund within 10 business days.

The actual time for the refunded amount to reach you may vary depending on the payment method or financial institution.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we may request valid bank account or other suitable payment details from the customer to process the refund. We may also ask for additional information to verify the order or payment when necessary.

Any applicable return shipping charges or other non-refundable charges will be deducted from the refund where stated in this policy.

10. Return Inspection

All returned products are inspected before a refund is approved.

If a returned product does not meet our return conditions, including if it has been opened, used, tested, partially consumed, damaged, or is missing its original packaging, the return may be rejected and the product may be returned to the customer.

11. Important Note

Hair Theory reserves the right to refuse a return or refund if the product does not meet the eligibility requirements described in this policy or if there is evidence of misuse, damage, or unauthorized use.
